1. Design & Pattern Development
The process begins with finalizing the saddle design, size, seat, flap shape, and required specifications. Based on the approved design, accurate cutting patterns and templates are prepared for each component.
2. Saddle Tree Preparation
The saddle tree forms the basic structural foundation of the saddle. It provides the required shape, strength, support, and overall framework for the finished saddle.
3. Leather Selection
Premium-quality genuine leather is carefully selected for production. The leather is inspected for thickness, grain, flexibility, strength, texture, and surface finish to ensure consistent quality.
4. Leather Cutting
Using approved patterns and templates, the leather is accurately cut into individual components. Separate pieces are prepared for the seat, jockeys, flaps, panels, billets, and other saddle parts.
5. Seat & Flap Preparation
The seat is carefully shaped and prepared with the required padding and structure. Saddle flaps are cut and formed according to the saddle design, rider position, and required specifications.
6. Panel & Padding Work
Suitable padding materials are fitted into the saddle panels. This process helps provide comfortable contact with the horse’s back while supporting appropriate weight distribution and rider comfort.
7. Stitching & Assembly
Individual leather components are carefully assembled using strong, durable stitching. Reinforced stitching is applied to high-stress areas to improve strength, durability, and long-term performance.
8. Fittings Installation
Billet straps, D-rings, stirrup bars, buckles, and other required hardware are carefully installed. Each fitting is positioned according to the approved product specifications to ensure functionality and reliability.
9. Shaping & Finishing
The completed saddle is carefully shaped to achieve the desired form and appearance. Leather edges are smoothed and finished, while the surface is cleaned and treated to achieve a refined, premium finish.
10. Quality Inspection
Each finished saddle undergoes a detailed quality inspection. The saddle is checked for dimensions, stitching, leather quality, symmetry, fittings, padding, construction, and overall finishing to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
11. Final Cleaning & Packing
After successfully passing the final inspection, the saddle is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for protective packaging. Finished products are securely packed according to customer and shipping requirements and prepared for dispatch.
